ONE HURT IN HECTOR CRASH

The state patrol was called to a collision between a semi and a Toyota Sienna Thursday afternoon.  Authorities were called at 12:42 pm to Highway 4 at Dupont Avenue in Hector..  The semi was drive3n by 40-year-old Jacob Wiens of Low Farm, Manitoba, Canada.  He wasn’t hurt.  The  Toyota was driven by 22-year-old Destiny Molendanichols of Hector.  She was taken to Olivia Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  Authorities say alcohol was a factor.  Hector Police and Fire, Buffalo Lake police and the Renville County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
