Red Flag Warning

The National Weather Service has issued a Red Flag Warning for portions of central, east central, south central, southwest, and west central Minnesota today (Monday).

The warning is in effect from 11 this morning to 8 this evening due to high winds and low humidity.

Officials say winds will be 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph, with the humidity around 20 percent.

Officials say any fires that develop will spread rapidly and outdoor burning is not recommended.
