BROWN COUNTY BURNING BAN

The Brown County Sheriff’s Office has issued a burning  ban for all of Brown County.    Strong winds, low humidity and dry conditions will lead to critical fire danger.  Sheriff Jason Seidl says this means no open burning of CRP Land and/or ditches or brush piles is permitted.  But recreational campfires are permitted…

Charcoal grills, wood smokers and propane or natural gas devices are not considered open burning.  If you have questions, call the Sheriff’s Office Dispatch at 507-233-6700.
