Fatal Stearns County Crash

The driver died in a single vehicle crash in Stearns County Friday afternoon in St. Joseph.

At just after 3pm, the Sheriff’s Office received a crash detection call from a location on Mullen Road. A few moments later, a passerby called in and provided information that a vehicle had rolled and said that someone was pinned under the vehicle.

Authorities say 22-year-old Cody Strong of St. Cloud died at the scene.

It’s believed Strong was traveling east on Mullen Road when he lost control in the curves, went off the road, rolled, and was partially ejected from the vehicle.
