Stars Take Game Two

Brock Faber scored twice but it was in a losing cause as the Wild fell to the Stars 4-2 in Game 2 and they settle for a split in Dallas. Wyatt Johnston scored the first and last goals of the game as Jake Oettinger got the win on 29 saves. Wild rookie Jesper Wallstedt suffered his first postseason loss on 28 stops. The Wild were shorthanded as they found out prior to the game that forward Mats Zuccarello would be unavailable for Game 2 and would miss with an upper body injury. Then Yakov Trenin was hit hard late in the first period by Colin Blackwell and left the ice bleeding. He too did not return. Zuccarello has three assists in Game 1 while Trenin had 13 hits.
