LAKE CRYSTAL TEEN CRITICALLY HURT IN COLLISION WITH SCHOOL BUS
The state patrol was called to a collision between a Dodge Caravan and a school bus Tuesday afternoon just before 3:30 pm on Highway 22 at 200th Street in Mankato Township. Authorities say the Caravan was driven by 18-year-old Ceilah Slama of Lake Crystal. She was taken to Mayo Clinic Health Systems with life-threatening injuries. Thd river of the bus 38-year-old Nicole Lee Barnett of Kilkenny wasn’t hurt. The state patrol did not say if there was anyone else on the bus. Eagle Lake Fire Department, Mankato police department, Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office and Mayo Ambulance assisted at the scene.
