FFA RESULTS

The State FFA Convention wrapped up Tuesday and several winners and acknowledgements were announced.  The FFA officer team this year will be Luke McCRea of Bethlehem Academy as President, Vice President Mattea Quigley of Randolph, Secretary Anna Sievert of Glencoe-Silver Lake, Treasurer is Edward Winters of Zumbrota-Mazzeppa, Reporter is Ella Aarsvold of Kasson-Mantorville and the Sentinel is Aidyn Brutger of Eden Valley-Watkins.  Other winners include the Land of Service first place winner is the Sleepy Eye FFA Chapter with Glencoe-Silver Lake third.  Agriculture Literacy winner Sleepy Eye, Glencoe-Silver Lake second, the nominating committee members include Kately Runge from St. James FFA, Eden Messerli of GFW, Best Informed Greenhand team Sleepy Eye, Companion Animal Science team Westbrook-Walnut Grove, Farm Business Management individual Michael McCorkell of Martin County West, Milk Quality and Products Sleepy Eye FFA, Poultry Evaluation, Sleepy Eye and soils Westbrook Walnut Grove.  Join us for the next several days as we continue to spotlight area FFA chapters on KNUJ, streaming on the Made in Minnesota app and at Ingstad Media.com.
