Three Arrested, Drugs/Firearms Seized in CEE-VI Investigation

A 50-year-old woman and a 46-year-old man from Clara City were taken into custody Wednesday and are in the Kandiyohi County Jail facing 1st Degree Controlled Substance charges and firearms related charges.

That came after search warrants were executed on their vehicle and residence by the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force.

The suspects were driving in Kandiyohi County when the vehicle was stopped and searched in which agents found over a quarter pound of methamphetamine. An additional search of their residence in Clara City netted agents with more methamphetamine as well as a firearm and ammunition.

Another occupant of the residence, a 21-year-old Willmar woman, was also arrested on controlled substance charges and is being held in the Yellow Medicine County Jail.
