Twins only get 1 run they lose 6-1
Saturday afternoon at Tropicana Field, where Shane McClanahan pitched five scoreless innings and earned the win in the Rays’ 6-1 victory over the Minnesota Twins. Tampa Bay secured a series victory over Minnesota. Overall, McClanahan permitted only three hits and a pair of walks while striking out a season-high seven batters in five innings.
For the Twins, Bailey Ober (2-1) pitched 6 innings he gave up 2 runs on three hits and struck out 3 also gave up a home run.
Twins had chances and once again could not get a hit to knock in runners to score.
