Litchfield Man Arrested in Drug Investigation

A 43-year-old Litchfield man was arrested Saturday after the CEE-VI Drug and Gang Task Force executed a narcotics search warrant at a residence in the 800 Block of Park Village in Litchfield related to methamphetamine trafficking.

During the search, agents located over a quarter pound of methamphetamine and a small amount of cocaine.

Authorities say the suspect was not present at that time but was located a short time later in Renville County and taken into custody and was in possession of additional controlled substances.

He’s now facing possible charges in Renville and Meeker Counties.
