Tigers Are The West Central Conference Champions!

Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers opened up with an 11-0 win over BOLD in five innings. First baseman Amaya Raths went 3 for 4, had 2RBIs, and scored once. Also knocking in two runs for the Tigers were second baseman Lauren Hottovy, catcher Cate Kehoe, and third baseman Kaylin Steen. Picking up the win pitcher Haley Kill, striking out seven, walked one, and gave up five hits.

In the second game, Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta won a close game 2-1 over BOLD. Tigers scored twice in the fourth inning and then got out of the seventh inning. Bases were loaded no outs BOLD only managed one run. Tigers 17-1 overall, 13-0 in conference and that makes Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Tigers the West Central Conference Champions! Congratulations Tigers!
