Wild take 3-2 series lead vs Stars

(Dallas, TX/Learfield News) — Minnesota forward Michael McCarron scored the eventual game-winner as the Wild doubled up the Stars 4-2 on Tuesday night to take a 3-2 series lead. Matt Boldy scored late in the second on the power play to put Minnesota up 2-1, but McCarron’s goal gave them some breathing room at 7:47 of the third to give the Wild their first two-goal lead of the hockey game. After Jason Robertson cut the lead back to one, Kirill Kaprizov iced the victory into an empty net as the Wild took Game Five with a chance to clinch on Thursday night at Grand Casino Arena. Mats Zuccarello scored the other Wild goal, and rookie Jesper Wallstedt made 20 saves in the victory.
