Injury plagues Wolves still close out Denver
(Minneapolis, MN/Learfield News) — The Minnesota Timberwolves are heading back to the N-B-A Western Conference semifinals for the third season in a row. The Wolves beat the Denver Nuggets 110-98 in Game Six at the Target Center last night. Minnesota closed out the game on a 10-1 run in the final two minutes. Jaden McDaniels led the way with 32 points and ten rebounds, while Terrence Shannon Jr. scored 24 points. Minnesota was without guards Anthony Edwards, Donte DiVincenzo, and Ayo Dosunmu in the game. The T-Wolves won the best-of-seven series 4-2. They’ll take on the Spurs in the next round.
