Frost take Game 1 of the Playoffs

(Montreal/Learfield News) — The two-time defending Walker Cup champion Minnesota Frost opened their postseason with a 5-4 overtime win in Game One at Montreal on Saturday night, getting the game-winner in overtime from Jincy Roese. Game Two of the best-of-five P-W-H-L Semifinals is slated for tomorrow night in Montreal at 6 P-M. There is a schedule change from the original slate, with Game Three being played in St. Paul on Thursday and Game Four, if necessary, set for Friday at Grand Casino Arena. Montreal was the number-one overall seed and was allowed to choose its opening round opponent, picking the third-seeded Frost. Here is the series schedule, with results to date: Game One: Minnesota 5, Montreal 4 (final) Tuesday: Minnesota at Montreal, 6 P-M (Game Two) Thursday: Montreal at Minnesota, 6 P-M (Game Three) Friday: Montreal at Minnesota, 7:30 P-M (Game Four, if necessary) Monday (5/11): Minnesota at Montreal, 6 P-M (Game Five, if necessary)
