TRAIN DERAILS NEAR HENDERSON

Le Sueur County authorities are investigating a train derailment near the area of Highway 19 and Henderson Station Road in Tyrone Township.  Authorities say Union Pacific Railroad alerted them of the derailment around 2:40 am Saturday morning.  Eight rail cars derailed, some carrying liquid methane while others were carrying propane and grain.  Union Pacific said none of the cars carrying methane or propane were leaking.   Some grain had spilled.  There were no injuries reported and you are asked to avoid that area as clean up continues.
