HIGHWAY 15/FORT ROAD ROUNDABOUT CONSTRUCTION TO START MAY 18

MnDOT says construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Highway 15 and Fort Road in Klossner is expected to start May 18.  Preliminary tree clearing will take place and the intersection will be closed starting May 18 with detours to Nicollet County Roads 15, 12 and 21.  The project includes constructing a single-lane roundabout at Highway 15 and the Fort Road to improve safety at the intersection, install lighting and improve drainage.  MnDOT expects the roundabout will be finished in late July, of course weather permitting.  Once that roundabout is done crews will start construction on a single-lane roundabout at Highway 111 and the Ford Road north of Nicollet.
