Wolves even series with Spurs 2-2

(Minneapolis, MN/Learfield News) — Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards took command in the fourth quarter and led his team to a key 114-109 win over San Antonio in Game Four of the N-B-A Western Conference Semifinals last night in Minneapolis. Edwards scored a game-high 36 points, including 16 points in the final frame, to lead the Wolves to a come-from-behind win. The Spurs were without their star player Victor Wembanyama after he was ejected from the game for throwing a flagrant elbow into the chin of Minnesota forward Naz Reid in the second quarter. It was the first career ejection for Wemby, who finished with just four points. San Antonio switched to a shorter lineup and held a four-point lead to start the fourth quarter. The Wolves outscored the Spurs 34-25 in the fourth. Game Five shifts to San Antonio tomorrow night at 7 P-M.
