Stevens County First Half Property Taxes Due May 15
The Stevens County Auditor-Treasurer’s Office reminds residents that first half real estate taxes are due Friday, May 15, 2026.
This applies to residential, commercial, and agricultural properties. By law, penalties must be added to late payments.
Taxpayers have several payment options available:
By mail: Tax payments may be mailed, but to avoid penalty, payments must be postmarked by May 15, 2026.
Drop box: Payments may be placed in the drop box located inside the front main entrance of the Stevens County Courthouse. The drop box is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, prior to midnight on May 15, 2026.
Electronic payment: Taxpayers may pay by electronic check or credit/debit card through the Stevens County website, or by calling the Auditor-Treasurer’s Office at 320-208-6567. Additional fees apply.
In person: Payments may be brought to the Auditor-Treasurer’s Office on the second floor of the courthouse during regular business hours, Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
