Update: Name Released in Fatal McLeod County Crash

Authorities have released the name of the person that died in a crash involving a semi and a pickup truck in McLeod County Wednesday afternoon east of Glencoe.

The State Patrol says 85-year-old Anecia Langenbau of Hutchinson died at the scene. She was a passenger in the pickup. The driver of the pickup, 63-year-old Cynthia Schweiss of Hutchinson, was taken to HCMC for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The driver of the semi, 23-year-old Mahmut Lacin of Centerville, Ohio, was taken to Glencoe Hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash happened on Highway 212 at Dairy Avenue just after 2pm.
