SIX VEHICLE CRASH IN MANKATO

The state patrol is investigating a crash that involved six vehicles Friday afternoon in Mankato shortly after 2 pm.  Authorities say a Kia Sorento driven by  30-year-old Brittany Lyn Fitzpatrick of Eagle Lake was northbound on the ramp from Riverfront Drive to go onto Highway 169 when she braked for vehicles ahead.  A Chevy Bolt driven by 54-year-old Bayram Shyhnazarov of North Mankato collided with the Kia.  Both drivers were taken to MCHS in Mankato with non-life threatening injuries.  A Chevy Malibu driven by 19-year-old Gracy Delaske of Waterville  was also northbound on the ramp stopped for the crash when a Chevy Impala driven by  18-year-old Colton Jay Franklin of North Mankato collided with it.  A Ford Escape driven by 46-year-old Maya Leigh Hastings of Mankato was stopped as well on the ramp and was struck by a Chrysler PT Cruiser driven by  47-year-old Mark Kral of Mankato.  None of the other drivers were hurt.  Mankato police and fire assisted at the scene.
