Donna Marie (O’Brien) Forner, age 96, longtime resident of Chaska, MN, died peacefully on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at Auburn Home of Waconia, MN.

Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, June 8, 2026, 11:00 AM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 218 West Second Street, Chaska, MN, with her grandson, Father Clayton Forner presiding. The family will receive friends on Sunday, June 7, 2026, 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Bertas Funeral Home, 200 West Third Street, Chaska, MN, and also one hour prior to the Mass at the church. The inurnment will be at Guardian Angels Catholic Cemetery, Chaska, MN. Memorials are preferred to Guardian Angels Catholic Church, Bountiful Basket Food Shelf Chaska or hunger-relief agency of choice.

Survivors include her children, Thomas (Victoria) Forner of Chaska, Kenneth (Laurie) Forner of Carver, Janet (Kent) Bosch of Montevideo, Joseph Forner of Henderson; 11 grandchildren, Nicole (Mike) Phillips, Andrew (Giselle Garza) Forner, Carissa Forner, Jenna (Miguel) Salinas, Danielle (Genaro) Campos, Taryn (Eric) Menth, Father Clayton Forner, Leanne (Blake) Ingman, Sr. Cecilia (Alexandra Bosch), Anthony (Emily) Bosch and William Bosch; 16 great grandchildren; close family friends Lily (Donna’s “second daughter”) and Kevin Lockwood and their sons Nathan and Justin; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
