Marjorie Elaine Fulghum

Marjorie Elaine Fulghum, age 88 of Le Sueur, MN died on Friday, May 15,
2026 at her son’s home in Kasota, MN. Memorial services will be on Sunday,
June 7, 2026, 11:00 a.m., Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur. Visitation will be
at the Kolden Funeral Home Sunday, June 7, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. ~ 11:00
a.m. Burial will follow the service at Ottawa Cemetery in Ottawa, Minnesota.
Refreshments and fellowship to follow burial at the Caribou Gun Club south of
Le Sueur. Marjorie was born on August 17, 1937, in Owatonna, MN to
Raymond Schmidt and Mildred (Munson/Hale).
Marge grew up in the Blooming Prairie, MN area, went to school in Blooming
Prairie and graduated from Blooming Prairie High School. She married
George Fulghum on November 22, 1968, in Madison Lake, MN.
Marjorie and George raised their family in the Mankato and Le Sueur area,
and she bartended at several establishments, Club Royal in Mankato, MN,
Green Mill, Le Sueur and The Time Out in Le Sueur.  The couple moved to
Hertel, WI in about 2007 where she worked at the St. Croix Casino in Hertel,
WI.  After George’s death in 2017 she moved back to Le Sueur, MN.  Her
greatest joy was spending her time with kids, grandkids, other relatives and
her close friends.  She also enjoyed bingo, bowling and occasional pull tabs.
She had a green thumb with plants and a special love of flowers. Watching the
birds feed and play out of her window always brought a smile to her face.
Children; Katheryn Critzer of Mankato, MN; Gayland Hamilton and his
special friend Charlene Frericks Quist of Kasota, MN; Susan Hamilton
(Michelle MacGregor) of St. Louis Park, MN, Patricia (Joseph Leckey) of
Winnebago, MN, Paul Fulghum of Le Sueur, MN. 11 Grandchildren and 7
Great-Grandchildren. Brother, Kenneth (Mary Schmidt) of Owatonna, MN.
Nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Ray and Mildred, George (husband)
and son-in-law, Sam Critzer.
