Twins lose 3-1 to Chicago White Sox
Brooks Lee’s first-inning solo home run (6) was all the offense Minnesota Twins could muster on Monday afternoon, losing to the White Sox in Chicago by a final score of 3-to-1.
All of the runs in the game came via home runs and in the first two innings. Munetaka Murakami hit a solo home for the White Sox in the bottom of the first and Drew Romo went deep in the second inning with a two-run blast. The game only took two hours and nineteen minutes on Monday afternoon.
Zebby Matthews (1-2) only gave up 5 hits in six innings also striking out six and took the loss for the Twins.
