Lynx beat Dream, go to 5-2

The Minnesota Lynx picked up a strong home win last night, beating the Atlanta Dream 96-to-81 at Target Center. Courtney Williams led the way with 25 points and seven assists, while Natasha Howard added 22 points and eight rebounds. The Lynx took control in the third quarter, turning a four-point lead into a 17-point cushion with a 13-to-nothing run. Minnesota also dominated inside, outscoring Atlanta 52-to-36 in the paint. The win moves the Lynx to 5-and-2 on the season, and gives them three straight victories heading into Friday night’s road matchup against the Chicago Sky.
