GIRLS SOFTBALL
Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta Girls Softball Team Wraps Up The Season.
In the 3AA Playoffs the Tigers won their first two games and dropped the last two games to finish third. Tigers finished the year with 23 wins and five losses. With all the Tiger wins, puts Head Coach Mary Holmberg with 712 career wins.
Haley Kill star pitcher for Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta went over 500 strikeouts for her career and getting named to the All Star Series.
The Minnesota Fastpitch Coaches Association and the Minnesota Twins would like to congratulate Haley Kill on being selected as a 2026 All-Star Player. Twenty-Two senior players from each Class (A, AA, AAA, AAAA) are selected for this honor.
To celebrate this honor there will be an All-Star Series/Hall of Fame Luncheon in the morning and All-Star Series ceremony and games in the afternoon held on Sunday June 7th in North Mankato at Caswell Park. 2026 is the 37th year of the event and is currently sponsored by the Minnesota Twins and the Minnesota Fastpitch Coaches Association.
