MNDOT TO INSTALL RUMBLE STRIPS IN SW MINNESOTA

The Minnesota Department of Transportation will start installing rumble strips at highway intersections throughout southwest Minnesota this month.  Officials say work will occur at multiple locations and will include installing pavement “Stop Ahead” messages, sign replacements and sign location adjustments at each location.  You will encounter flaggers and brief delays.  Work zones will be brief as crews move from one site to the next frequently.  The project is part of MnDOT’s ongoing efforts to improve intersection safety and reduce fatal and serious injury crashes across Southwest Minnesota.  The project is expected to be done in early July.
