New License app Coming out Tuesday

Minnesota hunters and anglers are getting a new way to buy and carry licenses. The Department of Natural Resources says its new electronic licensing system launches Tuesday, June ninth, starting with hunting and fishing licenses. The D-N-R says licenses will be available through a mobile app, online, or in person at license agents. During the transition, fishing license sales are paused through Monday, June eighth, and anglers can fish without a license during that window—but regular seasons, limits and rules still apply
