Lynx hold off Valkyries
The Minnesota Lynx kept their strong start rolling last night, edging the Golden State Valkyries, 87-84. Olivia Miles had the hot hand, knocking down eight threes and finishing with 28 points as Minnesota survived a tight fourth quarter. The win moves the Lynx to 8-and-2 overall and 2-and-0 in Commissioner’s Cup play. It’s another early-season sign that Minnesota is staying near the top of the WNBA picture, even with the league race starting to tighten. The Lynx now turn the page and look to keep momentum going through Cup play.
