COMFREY MAN KILLED IN COTTONWOOD COUNTY CRASH

The state patrol was called to a crash at 10:13 this (Monday) morning on Highway 71 at Highway 30 in Amboy Township Cottonwood County.  Authorities say a Nissan Rogue driven by 54-year-old Scott Burdorf of Montevideo and a Chevrolet Silverado driven by 81-year-old Jerry Lee Evers of Comfrey collided.  Evers was killed.  Burdorf was taken to Windom Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  Evers was not wearing a seatbelt.  Windom Fire and ambulance, Jeffers Fire and first responders along with the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office all assisted at the scene.
