SEVERAL HURT IN CRASH IN FRONT OF TRI CITY UNITED HIGH SCHOOL
Several people were hurt, some seriously in a collision between a Hyundai Sante Fe and a Mazda 6 early Wednesday morning at the intersection of Highway 13 and 21 in front of Tri-City United High School in Montgomery. The state patrol says the Hyundai was driven by26-year-old Taylor Jaworski of Carver. He was taken to New Prague Hospital and then transferred to St. Mary’s in Rochester with non-life threatening injuries. Two passengers 31-year-old Kassondra Werner of Carver and a 10-year-old boy were taken to New Prague Hospital and then transferred to St. Mary’s in Rochester with life threatening injuries. Neither wore their seatbelt. A 6-year-old girl was taken to St. Mary’s with non-life threatening injuries. She also was not wearing a seatbelt. A 2-year-old was taken to St. Mary’s with non-life threatening injuries. She did wear a seatbelt. The driver of the Mazda, a 16-year-old boy was taken to St. Mary’s with unknown injuries. Montgomery police and fire, Le Sueur County Sheriff’s Office and North ambulance assisted at the scene.
