RURAL STORDEN MAN DIES IN GRAIN BIN ACCIDENT
A rural Storden man died Thursday after he became trapped in a grain bin. The Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office says they were dispatched at 7:46 pm for the report of a man trapped in a grain bin. First responders attempted to locate the man, identified as 72-year-old William Quade. He was found under about three feet of corn. Authorities say he was taken to Sanford Westbrook Medical Center where he was pronounced dead. Westbrook Police and ambulance, Storden Fire and first responders and the Cottonwood County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene. The investigation is continuing.
