City of Hancock USA 250 Celebration — July 3 & 4, 2026
The City of Hancock is celebrating Independence Day and America’s 250th birthday with a full lineup of community events on Friday, July 3, and Saturday, July 4, 2026.
From the Kids Triathlon and medallion hunt to the pancake feed, 5K, parade, car show, food vendors, fireworks, and live music, there will be something for the whole family to enjoy.
Friday, July 3
Kids Triathlon
The celebration begins Friday evening with the Kids Triathlon at 7:00 PM.
Registration will be located at the school gravel parking lot by the school playground. The event is open to children Pre-School through 6th Grade.
Registration Fee: $10
Prizes: Awarded to the top 3 athletes
80 Proof Acoustic Duo at Buddies
Enjoy live music Friday night with 80 Proof Acoustic Duo at Buddies from 9:00 PM to midnight.
June 29 – July 4
Medallion Hunt
The Medallion Hunt will run from June 29 through July 4.
Clues will be posted daily by 9:00 AM at the Hancock Commons Family Center. The medallion is worth $100.
If the medallion has not been found by Saturday, July 4, additional clues will be posted at 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM on July 4.
