Dorinda Jean Thielke

Dorinda “Dori” Jean Thielke, age 73 of rural Holloway, Minnesota, passed away Sunday, June 14, 2026, at CentraCare Hospital in Benson, MN.

Dori’s request was for her family to hold a private graveside service at Lakeside Cemetery, Hancock.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Dori Thielke on Friday, June 19, 2026 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Buddies Bar & Grill in Hancock, MN.

Dori was born January 8, 1953, the 2nd of six children, to Orville and Marjorie (Toop) Berget. Dorinda married Marty Thielke on October 28, 1972 and to this union three children were born.

She is survived by her husband: Marty; daughter: Shannon (Aaron) Schmidt; son: Shane (Jen) Thielke;  daughter: TaiAnna (Brent) Moe; nine grandchildren, Shaleah, Kaden, and Kellen Schmidt, Carter, Parker, Benett and Harper Thielke and Sydney and Sawyer Moe; sister: Ramona (Dean) Rohloff; brother: Kyle (Karen) Berget; sisters-in-law: Stephanie Berget, Marlys Giese, and Kathy (Ernie) Christianson; and brothers-in-law: Randy (LuJean) Thielke, John Jepma, and Tom Wente.

Dorinda was preceded in death by her parents: Orville “Curly” and Marjorie Berget; brother: Kerry Berget; sisters: Chrysta Wente and Tawnia Jepma; and brother-in-law: Richard Giese.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be directed to Clontarf First Responders, c/o Amanda Ness, 215 – 60th St. NW, Benson, MN 56215 or Danvers EMS, c/o City of Danvers, P.O. Box 76, Danvers, MN 56231.

Arrangements are with Pedersen Funeral Home in Morris, MN.
