Heavy Rains in the Forecast for Tuesday Could Lead to Flooding
After a brief dry warm end to last week, this week erupts with significant rainfall that could cause some flooding issues locally.
Monday’s weather is calm with temperatures in the high 60s and low seventies for the day.
However, Tuesday brings in a period of rainfall that is expected to reach 1-2 inches. The rain will start out light around 6 AM, before picking up in the later morning hours. Heavy rain is expected in the early afternoon.
There is also a chance of a thunderstorm between 4 and 5 o’clock in the afternoon. The rain is expected to last into Wednesday.
The high for Tuesday is 57 and the low is 48 making it the coolest day in a few weeks and nearly 30 degrees cooler than last Friday.
