Severe Weather for Minnesota
The Storm Prediction Center has placed a huge chunk of Iowa and parts of neighboring states, including southeastern Minnesota and southwestern Wisconsin, in a moderate risk of severe weather. That’s level four of five on the severe scale.
Tuesday could become a dangerous day as a significant severe weather outbreak is expected to unfold across northern Missouri and Iowa and stretching into southeastern Minnesota, Wisconsin and Illinois.
Areas south/southeast of the Twin Cities are certainly in a better environment for all severe hazards, including tornadoes, large hail and damaging winds.
