KGLB/KARP/KDUZ named recipient of GSL Community Support Award

Glencoe Silver Lake Schools announced their annual end of the year awards on Thursday.  One of those awards, went to us here at KDUZ/KARP/KGLB Radio.  GSL Superintendent Chris Sonju announced the radio stations as one of three recipients to win a Community Support Award.  Jeremy Stender and Joel Niemeyer were on hand at the ceremony.  Sonju says the awards honor local businesses for the contributions given to the Glencoe Silver Lake School District.  In our case, Sonju talked about how the stations help tell the story of GSL on the radio, from Academics to Athletics.  To win the award, a business must be nominated by the teachers and staff at Glencoe Silver Lake Schools.
