TWO TEENS KILLED IN BLUE EARTH COUNTY CRASH

Two teens were killed in a crash on Blue Earth County Road 90 Saturday afternoon.  Blue Earth County authorities were called just before 1 pm near Indian Lake Road.  Witnesses told authorities that two cars had collided head-on with one starting on fire.  Authorities say a car driven westbound by 18-year-old Jordis Lewis of Lake Crystal and an eastbound car driven by 56-year-old Dennis Hanson of Madison Lake collided.  Both Lewis and his passenger 17-year-old Jackson Tester of Mankato were killed.  Hanson and his 13-year-old passenger were seriously hurt.  An early investigation shows that Lewis may have been attempting to pass other westbound traffic.  The investigation is ongoing.  The Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by St. Clair Fire, Mayo Ambulance and the state patrol.
