Hutchinson Man Arrested/Charged for Lewd Behavior

A Hutchinson man was arrested and charged after police discovered he had been seen doing lewd behavior outside the King Motel on Highway 7 West last week.

On Wednesday, police initially trespassed 44-year-old Bryant Artee Theodore Mapp from the property and he left. After further investigation, police learned of the lewd behavior and at about 2:30pm, officers responded to the motel for continued suspicious behavior from him.

Mapp was again trespassed from the property, then taken into custody and transported to the McLeod County Jail.

Mapp has been formally charged with Felony – Predatory Offender – Knowingly commits act or fails to fulfill registration requirement, Gross Misdemeanor – Interfere with privacy – Hotel, tan booth, or other place – Gaze, stare/peep in window or aperture, and Misdemeanor – Indecent Exposure-Public Place Willfully/Lewdly.
