Cathedral Wins 8th State Championship

Cathedral Greyhound Softball team claims their 8th Championship, with a 10 to 4 win over Clinton/Graceville/Beardsley. Abby Hillesheim hit a three run home run in the second, Ava Schmid had a two run single and Alexa Hornick had a three run single in the fifth sending the Greyhounds to a Class a Championship. Jayde Altermatt picks up the win in the circle, giving up 4 runs on 6 hits and striking out 4. the Greyhounds finish the year 26 and 2.

The Double A Champion was Randolph, a 3 to 0 winner over LCWM.

The Triple A Champion was Mankato East, the Cougars score 6 in the top of seven to defeat Cretin/Derham Hall 6 to 1.

The Four A Champion was Rogers, a 3 to 0 winner over New Prague.
