No Wake Zone Issued for Meeker Co Lake

Meeker County Sheriff Brian Cruze has ordered a no wake zone within 500 feet of shore on Lake Arvilla, located north of Dassel off of Highway 4.

The order is under the authority of a state administrative rule and is in effect for the next 30 days.

Other lakes in the area are also being monitored.

Sheriff Cruze reminds boaters that with high water on area lakes to be cautious and to remember the effects of wakes to property on the lake.
