Fatal Sherburne Co Crash

A driver died in a two-vehicle crash in Sherburne County Tuesday evening in Becker.

The State Patrol says 44-year-old Derrick Sartwell of Monticello died at the scene.

The Patrol says he was driving a pickup westbound on Highway 10 when his vehicle swerved into a semi trailer that that was also westbound, but was in the left turn lane attempting to turn onto Liberty Lane.

The driver of the semi was not injured.

The crash happened at about 7:30pm.
