TRF Man Arrested For Alleged Strangulation

A Thief River Falls area man was arrested for Domestic Assault by Strangulation early Wednesday morning. 

Police say Janier Antonio Rivera (21) was arrested after there was a “Female Party In Lobby Looking to Report a Domestic” at an address on Knight Avenue. Officers responded just after 12:30am. According to the report the “victim is a female”.

Rivera has been charged with Domestic Assault by Strangulation and Misdemeanor Domestic Assault.
