GLENCOE DAYS CANCELLED

Organizers say this year’s Glencoe Days celebration scheduled for this weekend has been cancelled.  According to a Facebook post, organizers say Oak Leaf Park is heavily saturated with water with rain expected all week.  There will be a couple of events.  Glencoe Royalty will still hold their pork chop feed Thursday from 4 – 7 with coronation Sunday at 4 at the Glencoe City Center.  The Glencoe Car and Bike Show will also be Sunday  at the City Center from 11 – 3.  The Facebook post also says that organizers are looking at a future date option to hold a one-day condensed event.   Other area events going on this week include St. James Railroad Days this week and Nicollet Friendship Days starting Friday.
