Twins Edge Out Rays to Extend Win Streak
Last night the Minnesota Twins beat the Tampa Bay Rays 7-6 to give them a six game winning streak.
The Twins have started to look like the team many believed they were going to be. Minnesota had top five odds to win the World Series.
The Twins are one of the hottest teams in baseball, as they have won six straight and eight of the last ten games.
Pitcher Pablo Lopez played the first four innings giving up 7 hits and 5 runs while striking out three. This gave the Rays an early 4-0 lead before the Twins stroke back and controlled the rest of the way.
The Twins play again tonight at 6:40PM and then again on Thursday at 12:10 to close out the three game series with the Rays.
