NEW ULM MAN SUFFERS CRITICAL INJURIES IN MOTORCYCLE CRASH

The state patrol was called to a motorcycle crash on Highway 14 in Courtland Township Nicollet County Wednesday night shortly after 9:30.  Authorities say the motorcycle driven by 44-year-old Andrew Fritsche of New Ulm was westbound on Highway 14, lost control and crashed.  Fritsche was taken by Allina Life Link helicopter to Hennepin County Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.  He was not wearing a helmet.  Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office and Nicollet Fire Department assisted at the scene.
