Fatal Wright Co Crash

A driver is dead after a crashed vehicle was discovered in a cornfield in Wright County early this morning (Thursday) northwest of Annandale.

The Sheriff’s Office says 59-year-old Julie Hahn of Annandale died at the scene.

At about 2:46am, the Sheriff’s Office received a call of a vehicle stopped in a cornfield south of 90th ST NW just east of Nevens Ave NW.

The preliminary investigation indicates the vehicle was eastbound on 90th St NW when it went off the roadway and into the ditch. The vehicle then struck a road sign, a road approach, and may have rolled over before coming to rest in the cornfield.

Authorities believe Hahn was not wearing a seatbelt.
