Players bring it on Day #1 of the TRF Radio Hole in One

A beautiful Sunday opened the 2024 Thief River Falls Radio Hole in One Event.   Players were greeted with a mild breeze and soft conditions as they peppered the driving range practice green at the Thief River Golf Club driving range.

The Top 10 qualifiers on Sunday include two ‘hole-in-one’ players;  Both Lee Hamre and Murphy Fellman found the cup, with Hamre taking the top spot in a shoot-out.

Dale Rystad at 7″ was third on board, followed by Robbie Omdahl 8″, Zane Hawk 1′, Shane Myhre 1′ 2 3/4″, Erick Huseth 1′ 3″, John Carlson 1′ 4″, Derek Janousek 1′ 5″ and Knute Hams 1′ 8″.

Each of the ten are now qualified for the finals on Thursday, June 27th at 6pm, where they each will have a shot at $100,000, $35,000 or $15,000 cash prizes.

Play continues daily from 11am to about 9pm, Thursday from 11am to 5pm, with the finals at 6pm on Thursday.

Plays can be purchased at the site of the event, the Thief River Golf Club driving range.  All proceeds benefit the Prowler Cross Country program, Youth Wrestling and Girl Wrestling programs in Thief River Falls.
