Every Movie and TV Series Coming to Netflix in July 2024
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F, the original Spider-Man movie trilogy and Cobra Kai Season 6 Part 1 are among movies and series new on Netflix in July. Read on to get the full lineup of movies, series, documentaries and comedy specials coming to the streamer.
Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F—a Netflix original movie that premieres on the streaming service on July 3—marks Eddie Murphy’s return to the franchise for the first time since Beverly Hills Cop III in 1993. The original Beverly Hills Cop was released in 1984, followed by Beverly Hills Cop II in 1987.
Reuniting with Murphy for Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F are the original film’s stars Judge Reinhold, John Ashton, Paul Reiser and Bronson Pinchot. Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F is directed by Mark Molloy and also stars Kevin Bacon, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Taylour Paige. Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F is among the four Netflix original movies debuting on the streamer in July.
Director Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man 1, 2 and 3 starring Tobey Maguire as the webslinger and Kirsten Dunst as Mary Jane Watson is debuting on Netflix on July 1, as well as director Robert Zemeckis’ Back to the Future trilogy, starring Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd.
Among the big series debuts on Netflix in July is Cobra Kai Season 6, Part 1, starring Ralph Macchio and William Zabka. The hotly anticipated first part of the sixth season premieres on July 18. The original Karate Kid movie from 1984 also debuts on Netflix on July 1.
Also, the first two movies in Will Smith and Martin Lawrence’s Bad Boys movie series are moving over from Hulu to Netflix on July 8. The move comes while the fourth installment in the series—Bad Boys: Ride or Die—enjoys its success at the summer box office.
