BROWN COUNTY APPROVES STATE OF EMERGENCY
Brown County Commissioners have approved a resolution ratifying a state of emergency for flood damage. Officials say the state of emergency declaration will not require the county and townships to go through the bid process for the work to be done. Four Brown County Townships have reported damage and officials are still waiting on another one. Brown County’s threshold to qualify for state assistance for damage to public property is over $59,500 and over $119,000 for federal assistance.
