Lynx Blow Lead, Lose In Texas
(Arlington, TX) — The Minnesota Lynx blew a double-digit lead and lost at Dallas Thursday 94-88.
The defeat snapped a seven-game winning streak for Minnesota and ended an 11-game losing skid for Dallas.
The Lynx went up by 15 early in the second quarter before Dallas scored the final 13 points of the half to cut the margin to two at the break.
The host Wings took the lead for good in the fourth quarter.
Minnesota forward Napheesa Collier poured in 29 points and grabbed 11 boards in the losing effort, while Bridget Carleton finished with 17 points.
The Lynx are in third place in the WNBA at 13-4.
The Wings improved to 4-13 on the season.
Minnesota will visit the Chicago Sky on Sunday at 2 PM.
